FAMILIES across Wishaw and Motherwell can take a trip down the yellow brick road as this year’s festive pantomime season kicks off.
The magic of pantomime returns with Motherwell Theatre’s brand new production of a classic family treat.
From the producers of previous Christmas panto classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz retells the magical story of Dorothy and Toto with lots of family fun along the way.
Cast includes Andy Fleming as the Scarecrow, Zoë Chatterton as Dorothy, Neal Hutton as the Lion, David Jonathan as the Tin Man, Tania Foley as the Wicked Witch, Kathleen Kieran as the Good Witch and Alan Mehdizadeh as the Wizard.
The show runs from Monday November 24 to Sunday 4 January 2009 and more than 24,000 tickets have already been sold.
Tickets range from £9.50 to £11 and discounts are available for groups of six or more.
