THIS handsome dog called Freddie is hoping that a Wishaw Press reader can give him a loving home.
Our animal welfare friends tell us that the five-year-old crossbreed adores getting attention and loves playing - with football being his favourite game.
He is good around young children but as he is a big strong dog, it is recommended that he goes to a home with children older than eight.
Susan Tonner, the rehoming manager with Dogs Trust in West Calder, said that Freddie would make a great dog for the right owners in the local area.
She continued: “Freddie is a real fun dog whose favourite game is football.
“He would like an active home with a strong, sensible owner.
“Freddie is house-trained so he can be left home alone short periods.”
Unfortunately, Freddie is not happy around other dogs so he needs to go to a home that doesn’t have a pet already.
He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice
If anyone in the area can offer Freddie, or any of the other 60 dogs at the centre, a home please call (01506) 873459.
And Dogs Trust always have good homes for puppies, so if any owners need help with a litter please call the centre.
READY FREDDIE: can you offer this five-year-old crossbreed a home?
