Save Your Skin
A STAR-STUDDED, celebrity packed ball will happen in Glasgow this month to raise much needed cash for charity.
Fake Bake's Glitz and Glamour Ball in aid of their Save Your Skin Campaign will take place in the city on Friday May 18 at the Radisson Blu hotel.
The global tanning brand is aiming to highlight the importance of sun awareness - and also to raise cash for their chosen charity, Raft which helps people with skin disfiguring illnesses such as burns, wounds and skin cancer.
On the night, guests can look forward to a glamorous event, packed with celebrities such as Peter Andre, Amy Childs, Michelle Heaton and Duncan James. A drinks reception will be followed by a divine four course meal with wine. Music and live entertainment will also be a staple of the night.
Save Your Skin supporter, Peter Andre who will be attending the ball, said: "I have always loved to tan and have the healthy glow of a tan - it’s brilliant that Fake Bake are committed to using their renowned name in the tanning industry to make a difference and educate the British public on the methods of ‘safe’ tanning.
"it’s so important to encourage the use of suncream, tan in a bottle and the disuse of sunbeds which are known world-wide to dramatically increase the risk of skin cancer – it’s a fantastic campaign and I’m very proud to support Save Your Skin 2012."
Fake Bake CEO, Sandra McClumpha said: "This year’s Save Your Skin campaign is going to be the biggest and best yet and it is a cause extremely close to my heart. Skin cancer is a preventable disease so if we only save one life through the Fake Bake campaign we have done our job."
Tickets for this not-to-be missed event are £75 and can be purchased by calling 01698 819966
