Chance to get in the swim to boost charity

STRATHCLYDE Park is the venue for a new, one-mile mass participation open water swim for charity, first event of its kind in the region.

The Great Scottish Swim is on Saturday, August 29, and provides a real challenge to expert swimmers and amateurs alike.

Alzheimer Scotland is delighted to be one of the official charities backing the event and has guaranteed places. The charity is asking swimmers to pay a registration fee of £30, and to raise a minimum of £150 sponsorship.

Each swimmer will receive a full sponsorship pack which will include sponsorship forms, a free t-shirt, a thank-you medal and after event refreshments.
