PRIMARY 2/3 pupils at Stane Primary School in Shotts visited the new Clansman Homes development near the school recently.
A representative from Clansman Homes had visited the school during the previous week to speak to the children as part of their environmental studies work on building homes the green way.
The pupils were able to see how modern homes are built and some of the environmental features which are included.
They were then invited to visit the show home.
During their visit to the development the children were provided with safety helmets and vests, which, much to their delight, they were allowed to keep.
Snacks and juice were also provided and the children voted the visit a resounding success as well as a great help with their environmental studies project.
