Car bomb accused is a 'pacifist'

A high-flying neurologist accused of masterminding a car bomb campaign in Glasgow and London is a dedicated pacifist, a court has heard.

NHS doctor Mohammed Asha, 28, would not become involved in terrorism "in a million years", Woolwich Crown Court was told.

Opening his defence, barrister Stephen Kamlish QC said his client will "fight for his life" in the witness box.
