Neil Livett hopes to move Dalziel off the bottom of RBS Championship League A this weekend when they face fellow strugglers West of Scotland in a vital encounter at Dalziel Park.
Dalziel are just one point behind Dunfermline and West but have played two games fewer.
Already this season they have lose twice to the Burnbrae outfit, in the Regional Cup last time out and in a league clash back in September.
However Livett hopes to make it third time lucky.
The head coach said: “The performance against Hamilton last month then West of Scotland a week later was chalk and cheese. If we had played anything like we did against Hamilton, West would have found it quite difficult.
“We never performed but that is water under the bridge now and we have been working on things recently to put into practice on Saturday.”
He added: “It’s now just a question of getting a game on and hopefully that happens on Saturday.”
