Runner Craig powers his way to victory

CRAIG Wellcoat of Braidhurst High School scooped gold at the recent Scottish Power sponsored Scottish schools championships at Grangemouth recently.
The Motherwell athlete powered to victory in the 800 metres final in his age group, clocking 2 minutes 26 seconds.
The talented runner also won gold at the national indoor championships earlier this year.
He also won a bronze medal in the Scottish cross-country championships.
Next up for Craig is the International Children’s Games in San Francisco in July.
