THE last major senior trophy of the indoor bowling season was up for grabs at Lanarkshire Indoor Bowling Club recently. A thrilling final resulted in a very low-scoring 9-7 victory for Bill Brown, Robert Jamieson, Hugh O’Donnell and Peter Smellie (skip) in the M&J Barr and Son (Bakers) Senior Trophy. Runners-up were George Wardrope, John Lappin, Les Thomson and Davy Morrison (skip).
