MOTHERWELL Bridgework were knocked out of the second round of the Amateur Cup at the weekend going down 3-1 away to Kilbowie Union.
Kilbowie took the lead on the half-hour mark with a low shot from 15 yards that nestled into the bottom right corner of the Bridgework net to make it 1-0 at half-time.
Bridge equalised five minutes after the interval however through Andrew Dickson.
His spectacular 12-yard volley after good work by James Riley and Derek Arthur found the back of the net.
Andrew Dickson came close with shots from the left but the home side scored two further goals from the penalty spot and a free-kick just outside the box to progress to the next round.
