BOTH Ayr Citadel teams gained promotion at the end of the 2007/2008 season in the West of Scotland Leagues.

The first team were pipped by SSRC after losing their last two matches but still finished comfortably in second place and can look forward to next season in Division One.

The second team led Division 7 throughout the season and will also be promoted.

Division Two points after 22 games: SSRC 314, Ayr Citadel 306, Western 11 295, Strathgryffe 277, Whitecraigs LTC 262, Bannatynes 11 258.

Division Seven points after 20 games: Ayr Citadel 11 314, Western V 271, Newlands V11 221, Nexty Generation 111 165, Giffnock V at Parklands 141, Allander 111 140.
