’Well girls’ open day a big success

MOTHERWELL FC Girls held a successful open day trial last Sunday at Fir Park.

More than 80 girls, ranging in age from five to early 20s, went along.

Including the current crop of youngsters at the club, that meant more than 100 girls were there..

There were girls from all over Lanarkshire and from Glasgow and beyond. Two girls from Perth attended.

Lots of skilful players were on view and the future of the club looks secure.

Motherwell will be running u-11s, u-13s, u-15s, u-17s and a ladies team next season.
