Dijkstra back for Dougie’s match

FORMER Motherwell favourite Sieb Dijkstra is set for a return to Fir Park.

The Dutch ‘keeper, who signed for ‘Well in the summer of 1991 from Dutch side Roda JC and left to join QPR in 1994, will play for a Motherwell select side in Dougie Arnott's testimonial on Thursday. September 11.

He said: “This match will be special for me because I will play at the ground again where it all started so brightly for me.

"Also it will be a very special feeling again to play in front of my great all-time favourite Motherwell fans."

The Motherwell side will play an Old Firm Select XI.
