Chance to show who’s ’Well boss

AN ordinary Motherwell fan's dream of being the team manager will come true next month – as a prize draw has been launched for the Dougie Arnott Testimonial match on Thursday, September 11.

The winning entry will take control of the home dug-out for one very special night and attempt to emulate one of Mark McGhee's inspiring team talks.

The fan (male or female) will have their chance to direct a Motherwell Select squad, including legends such as Sieb Dijkstra, Colin O'Neill, Craig Paterson, Fraser Wishart, Chris McCart, and Dougie himself, to defeat an Old Firm Select squad including the likes of Tom Boyd and Gordon Durie.

The winner will be assisted by celebrity Well fan Tam Cowan and Motherwell coaching heroes Tom Forsyth and Cammy Murray.

Football pundit Tam Cowan said: “I had the honour of being the manager a few years back for a game and it was a great experience that went very quickly.”
