DESPITE the bad weather two teams were able to get their games played this weekend.
Motherwell FC Academy under-13s girls continued to impress with a deserved 5-1 win against Falkirk at Wishaw Sports Centre on astroturf.
Despite the atrocious conditions the girls produced some very good football and thoroughly deserved their win – scoring some really good goals in the process.
The under-15s maintained their unbeaten run when they travelled to Stirling University to play Stirling girls.
The Motherwell girls mastered the conditions early on and ran out comfortable 15-1 winners!
This maintained their position at the top of the league.
The other games were postponed.
The under-17s have been hit badly with postponements but hope to get back into action this Sunday (November 2) when they are scheduled to travel to Edinburgh to play Hibs.
The girls are looking forward to taking on a Hibs side who are second in the league at the moment.
The Well have a 100 per cent record in the four games they have managed to play and will be striving to add another three points to their league tally.
