Falkirk 1 Motherwell 0
Falkirk’s Michael Higdon ended Motherwell’s chances with a goal 37 minutes in during Saturday’s clash.
Higdon’s third goal of the week secured Falkirk a triumph over the Motherwell side, who kept the Bairns’ on their toes throughout.
Perhaps still recovering from their meet with Rangers, Motherwell’s Marc Fitzpatrick passed up a brilliant chance of equalising with the winning side.
The windy conditions seen Falkirk keep the ball on the ground, however, it was an aerial shot that could have been a goal in the first seven minutes.
Motherwell missed chances on a few occasions with Sutton’s header causing panic for Falkirk within their penalty area.
Falkirk yet again came out on top with two attempts at doubling their lead against Motherwell.
Managing to hold on to the last minute, Falkirk fended off Motherwell’s attempts at equalising and triumphed through to their sixth game unbeaten.
