Good set of scores at Wishaw golf tournament

DESPITE wet conditions, there were some good scores during the competition for the Captain’s Prize at Wishaw Golf Club this week.

Stuart Crossley pipped Tom Moffat on the B.I.H rule to win the first class, with Graeme Schoneville winning the scratch prize, also on the B.I.H rule, from Paul McCabe. Paul McCafferty was three shots clear of Jack McMaster in the second class and Martin Fisher won the third class by one shot from John Young.

Prizes were presented by Eddie and Ann Higgins at the evening dance. This weekend’s competition is the John Campbell Millennium Trophy.
