Joe Baker Memorial another great success

THE Joe Baker Memorial Trophy was once again a great success at Wishaw Golf Club with many players from yesteryear in attendance.
Among the former stars was Hibs legend Lawrie Reilly, who once again made the trip from Edinburgh.
Also participating in a fantastic day were Bobby Lennox, Dixie Deans, Jackie McNamara and Tom Boyd.
The tribute to the former Hibs and Arsenal star was also attended by members of Joe’s family who helped present the prizes.
The winning team comprised of John Murdoch, Jim Douglas, Damien Pearson and John MacSporran.
The proceeds from the event will go to charity.
