A breeze kept scores in check for the Bobby Gray Open Handicap at the weekend.
More than 200 players took part and competition was keenly fought in the first class as R Nimmo from Bellshill beat John Murdoch on the B.I.H rule with S McGoldrick taking the best scratch.
In the second class Jim Schoneville defeated Mark Gillespie, Kevin Healey and Michael O’Keane by one shot.

Saturday competition is for the Ford Trophy and on Sunday is for the Lithgow Charity Trophy (mixed foursomes).
