A BRISK wind did not deter the players in Saturday’s Ford Trophy at Wishaw Golf Club with scores low in all classes.
Peter Reid had an excellent 62 to pip former club champion Graham Schoneville by one shot and win the trophy.
Colin Sloey who has played very consistently all season beat Brian McArdle on the BIH rule to take the second class.
John Kennedy was victorious in the third class by two shots over Martin Fisher.
