THE Tom McNair Four Ball Best Ball qualifier and International Pairs events took place at Wishaw Golf Club atvthe weekend.

Scores were good despite the blustery conditions.

Brian Leonard and Jim Moulds came to the fore just one shot in front of Tony McGinn and Gerry McLelland senior.

Robert Rogers and Peter Carty senior won the International Pairs qualifier.

Scores: Tom McNair Four Ball Best Ball, 1, B Leonard and J Moulds, 59; 2, A McGinn and G McLelland senior, 60; 3, R Rogers and P Carty senior, 61 (bih); 4, P Murray and T Moffat, 61 (bih).

This week’s competitions are the Seniors Open (Thursday) and the Sweepstake and AJ Moir qualifier, alongside the Hall of Fame over 50s qualifier.

Meanwhile, a dance will be held on Saturday with cabaret act Robert McIntosh supplying the entertainment.
