Carluke’s Weir wins Bobby Gray Open at Wishaw Golf Club

CALM conditions and receptive greens were ideal for low scores as Wishaw Golf Club hosted the Bobby Gray Open on Saturday.

I Weir (Carluke) beat Eddie Brown (junior) on the ‘better inward half’ rule to take the First Class trophy.

Stephen Duffy’s excellent round saw him pip Jim Bradley and A Forrester (Grangemouth) by one shot in the Second Class.
