Wishaw golfers washed out

ONCE again the weather took its toll on Saturday’s competitions at Wishaw Golf Club.

The cancellation means the autumn meeting for the Colin Baird Rosebowl will go ahead this weekend.

Ladies update: Div Two, (1), Moira Winkler, 76; Div One (1), Nicola McLuckie, 75.

Stableford, Div 2 (1), Catrina Pickard, 36 points. Div 1 (1), Heather Connacher, 36 points.

This Sunday there is an Eagles tribute band playing from 3-6pm at the club.

Tickets cost £5 and can be bought at the bar.
