THE final strokeplay event of the season at Wishaw Golf Club was played out in superb conditions at the weekend.
Scott Durno capped an excellent year winning the first class by two shots from Stuart Schoneville. The second class went to Roland Russell by a shot.
Jim McDonald secured victory in the third class by two shots from Willie Duncan.

Sunday’s competitions were all washed out.
Peter Carty and George McClune finished runner-up in the International Pairs at Loch Lomond’s Dundonald Golf Course.
Ian Proctor and Conor McLeod played in the Belhaven Best National Final at St Andrew’s Bay and Gus Kilmurray played in the Seniors Hall of Fame final at Hoylake.
