White wins Law Wheelers 10 mile time trial

GREG White (24m.48secs.) claimed the annual Law Wheelers confined 10-mile Time Trial on Sunday.

He beat Colin Sargent (25m.04secs.) into second place with Colin putting in a fine performance in his first-ever TT, proving he is one to watch for the future.

Brendan Corr (26m.41secs.) came third out of the 15 riders in a very respectable time.

Meanwhile the club will be holding its annual 20M TT in August.

The next club meeting will be on Monday, July 18, at Netherton Community Centre (7.30pm start) and the weekly club run will leave Newmains Cross at 9am as usual.

The club is open to new members and they especially welcome new or novice cyclists, those keen to learn how to race or people simply looking to build up confidence on a bike by group riding.
